Young Scientist Awards

The Organizing Committee encourages young scientists to participate in the ICEM2017 conference. 30 outstanding abstracts from young scientists will be selected by the organizing committee. Selections will be acknowledged to recipients via email by July 31, 2017.

They will be given:

  • -50% waived off ICEM 2017 registration fees
    * All applicants are requested to make registration and payment by early-bird deadline. It will be reimbursed on-site.
  • -Oral Presentation slot at the Young Scientist Session
  • *Oral presentation will be reviewed and outstanding papers will be published in
    a special issue of Mutation Research.

To be eligible, applicants must be:

  • -Students or postdoctoral fellows within 5 years of their PhD
  • -Presenter at the ICEM2017 Poster Session

Application:

Individuals who wish to apply for this award should notify the secretariat upon abstract submission. A short application with CV should be submitted to the ICEM2017 secretariat by June 30 via email (info@icem2017.org).

Travel Awards

A certain number of US$ 500.00 grants will be made available to Young Scientists from developing countries to help with travel costs to attend the ICEM 2017 in Korea to present their research. The selection will be acknowledged to recipients via email by July 31, 2017.

They will be given:

Travel fund to be awarded on-site.
  • -From Asia: USD 500
  • -From America, Africa or Europe: USD1,000
  • *All applicants are requested to make registration and payment by early-bird deadline.

To be eligible, applicants must be:

  • -Students or postdoctoral fellows
  • -Presenter at the ICEM2017 Poster Session
