Tour Programs

The ICEM 2017 Organizing Committee has prepared tour programs for the enjoyment of our participants. In order to take advantage of the special rates, please be sure to book your tours by October 13, 2017.

Participants who would like to join any of the tours should download and email the completed tour reservation form to the official tour agency at annieeyu@hotmail.com.

Tour Booking Conditions

  1. 1.If you would like to you apply for a tour, please contact the official travel agency no later than October 13, 2017.
  2. 2.All tour fees must be guaranteed with your credit card information when you apply.
  3. 3.Tours are subject to change or may be cancelled if the number of participants fails to reach the set minimum.
  4. 4.In the case of cancellations, the travel agency will contact you individually.
  5. 5.Requests for changes and cancellations should be made by e-mail at annieeyu@hotmail.com or fax to +82-2-364-4174.
  6. 6.Applications will be accepted after October 13, 2017, if vacancies are still open.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  1. 1.Cancellation 7 days before the scheduled date: 30% penalty on the tour cost
  2. 2.Cancellation 2 days before the scheduled date: 50% penalty on the tour cost
  3. 3.Cancellation 1 day before the scheduled date or on the day of the tour: 100% penalty on the tour cost

DESCRIPTION Incheon's China Town area came into being with the opening of the Incheon Port in 1883 and Incheon's designation as an extraterritoriality of the Ching Dynasty. In the past, the area held many stores trading goods imported from China, but most Chinese businesses are now restaurants.
Sinpo market (3,300㎡) dates back to the late 19th century when vendors began selling fresh vegetables to the Japanese, Chinese, and Westerners who settled in the area. Sinpo Market was officially registered as a market in 1970 and now boasts over 140 stores. The most famous item of the market is Dakgangjeong, a Korean dish of crispy fried chicken coated in a sweet and spicy sauce.

DESCRIPTION Changdeokgung Palace is the second royal villa built after Gyeongbukgung Palace in 1405. Changdeokgung was the principal palace for many of the Joseon kings, and is the best preserved among the five remaining royal Joseon palaces. The palace grounds are comprised of a public palace area, a royal family residence building, and the rear garden. The World Cultural Heritage Committee also designated Changdeokgung Palace as a World Cultural Heritage in 1997.
Insadong Antique Alley is a narrow street lined with antique stores and modern art galleries where visitors can wander and browse at leisure.

DESCRIPTION Korean Folk Village is a living museum that recreates the lifestyle of several centuries ago. There are potters, weavers, blacksmiths, and other artisans who practice their trades in traditional fashion. There are also 240 traditional homes and a small amphitheater for music and folk dances.

DESCRIPTION Truly a unique & rare experience in the whole world. This visit will leave you with a dramatic sense of the tremendous tragedy of separated families, the division of the peninsula and the hopes for reunification. The 3rd Tunnel is one of several underground tunnels dug under the DMZ (demilitarized zone) by North Korea for the purpose of infiltrating troops into South Korea in case of hostilities.

After the Silla Kingdom unified the peninsula in A.D. 676, the city developed into one of the world's major cultural centers. The area is called a "Museum without Walls" because of the wealth of historical buildings and treasures to be found there.
